MIS Production Head

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced MIS Production Head to manage and optimize the MIS systems for production processes. The ideal candidate will lead data collection, analysis, and reporting efforts to enhance production efficiency and ensure data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. MIS System Management:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of MIS systems for production.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of production data collected through MIS systems.
• Regularly update and upgrade MIS systems to meet evolving production needs and technological advancements.

1. Data Collection and Analysis:

• Develop procedures for efficient data collection from production units.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Provide actionable insights to enhance production performance and efficiency.

1. Reporting and Documentation:

• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on key production metrics (e.g., productivity, efficiency, quality).
• Ensure reports are accurate, comprehensive, and delivered on time to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed documentation of MIS processes, data sources, and reporting standards.

1. Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead, manage, and mentor the MIS production team to achieve departmental goals.
• Provide training and support to team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Foster a collaborative, results-driven team environment.

1. Coordination and Communication:

• Collaborate with production, finance, and other departments to ensure data consistency and alignment.
• Serve as the liaison between production units and IT for system issues and enhancements.
• Communicate regularly with senior management on MIS activities and production performance.

1. Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within production and MIS functions.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
• Monitor and adjust improvements to ensure their effectiveness.

1. Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements for production data management.
• Develop and enforce data governance policies to maintain data integrity and security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of MIS systems, data management, and production processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, BI tools).
• Experience with ERP systems and production management software.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
